Our laser training courses combine theory you can study remotely with face to face practical training. The Pathway to Laser, Intense Pulsed Light and LED Treatments course includes the Core of Knowledge module, the minimum requirement to enable you to obtain insurance for IPL and tattoo removal treatments, and a face to face practical clinical assessment. The Hollywood Carbon Laser Treatment course has online theory and a practical training day.

Laser training course questions
Our laser training courses are the Pathway to Laser, Intense Pulsed Light and LED Treatments course, which includes the Core of Knowledge module and is listed as a beginner course, and the Hollywood Carbon Laser Treatment course. A Skin Tag & Blemish Removal Course is also available.
It is a remote pre-study module, and it is the minimum requirement to enable you to obtain insurance for IPL and tattoo removal treatments. We include this module in the purchase of any laser it relates to. The Pathway course also includes face to face practical clinical assessment training.
It outlines the nature of light and laser beams and the devices used in medical and aesthetic practice. Topics include how optical radiation interacts with tissue, the types of active media used in lasers, emission modes and delivery systems, laser and IPL classifications, ablative and non-ablative lasers and ionising and non-ionising radiation.
The theory can be completed from home through online resources, with a multiple choice test taken online. The practical session takes place at your preferred training location, with a morning demonstration followed by practice models. Product is included, and there are no time limits on your online access for training and support.

Most laser machine pages state that the necessary machine training is included with your purchase, and the Core of Knowledge study is included with laser machine purchases it relates to. Additional trainees usually pay a fee, so check the machine page for the exact package.
